I had the privilege to interview a longtime colleague of mine, Mr. Tyler Helms, Senior Vice President, Group Account Director for a well-known American advertising agency  . His story is remarkable. Breathtaking. Inspiring. Touching. And just downright motivating. In this interview, Tyler shares his story of how he overcame a HIV positive diagnosis, a drug addiction, heartbreak and provides wonderful advice on how you can  “Push Through the Pain to Live in Your Purpose”.

Tyler J. Helms has built a career in communications and marketing. For nearly a decade he has helped develop strategic communication plans and execute 360 degree integrated marketing initiatives for some of the world's leading companies. 

Outside of the office Tyler is a published writer, advocate and community voice in the ongoing effort to raise awareness, education and prevention of HIV/AIDS. Speaking at numerous schools, colleges, and appearing on Sirus Radio's The Focus Group, The Doctors and The Gayle King Show, he has raised over $200,000 for AIDS research. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of GMHC (Gay Men's Health Crisis) the world's oldest AIDS Advocacy organization.
